A whirlpool bath has been built into deck off front porch. Privacy is provided by gates, lattice and privacy screen. Hot and cold water to tub.

The Sagebrush Reconnoiterer is the second owner of the mobile, which was one of the first mobiles put in place in the park (park built about 1966). The Reconnoiter has owned the mobile since June 1, 1994. Between 1994 and 2002 the mobile was used as a second home, occupied about 10 days per month. Since February, 2002 it has been lived in full time. Mobile is on the Inyo County tax roll instead of a California license plate.

This mobile home has been very reliable, with very few problems even though it is an older home. Many recent upgrades. Mobile makes an excellent second home to anyone in love with the Eastern Sierra and wishes to find inexpensive property. It is comfortable for two people. All rooms are nicely sized. Construction of the mobile is sturdy, with 2”x4” studs.

Looking along length of lot from rear portion. View is along the cedar utility room and the screened in porch.

Back yard. Chainlink fence is edge of yard, nothing beyond hinders the view of the Sierra Nevada. A small area behind cedar utility room holds trash can, yard tools. There are hooks to hold two large ladders.

A view back to the mobile and yard from the City of Los Angeles Department of Water & Power lot. Rear metal storage shed also seen at right. Quail and other wildlife are often seen running around back here.

Cedar utility shed and whirlpool bath (right). A homemade cover keeps bath clean and helps to keep water hot for hours during winter and cooler weather. Washer and dryer in utility room not included in purchase.

View out to front gate. There are only three mobile homes across the street. Park is quiet and neighbors protective of their neighbors.

View of front walkway around front of mobile. A parking slot is formed in the front fence, large enough for one vehicle.

Along backside of mobile home to rear deck.

View out front include 14,242 foot high White Mountain Peak. Small groups of cows graze across the street in the meadows on a regular basis.

View across the street from the front of the yard.

View along front fence to Glacier Lodge Road. The view north is of the White Mountains, as seen in a previous photo.

The backyard is a great place to relax on a warm summer afternoon or evening with a cold drink of your choice. The view is a bit north of west to 11,187 foot high Round Mountain. The road in the background leads to Glacier Lodge, about nine miles up Big Pine Creek.

Or if the mood strikes, turn slightly and enjoy the view of 13,356 foot high Temple Crag and 13,602 foot high Birch Mountain. Much wildlife can be viewed in the mornings and evenings.

Much of the same scene can be had from the rear deck.

The rear shed and my outdoor swing (swing not included) hanging from the big mulberry tree. The trash cans are used for recycling bottles, cans and plastic. Big Pine has a friendly recycling center.

Another scene looking southwest to the Sierra Nevada from just outside the rear fence on the City of Los Angeles Department of Water & Power lot.

View south from City of Los Angeles Department of Water & Power lot just outside rear fence. Neighbors are far and few.
