“ACCIDENTAL
DEATH.”
Walter Moore, a Goldfield prospector, was
accidentally killed while placing a rifle in a wagon. The accident
occurred at Stewart's springs, north of Mina. The deceased was a
prominent resident of Goldfield.

“F.Y. WILLIAMS
DEAD.”
F.Y. Williams, manager for the Lothrop-Davis
company and treasurer for the telephone company, died on the train at
Mina, while en route to San Francisco. Mr. Williams was well and
favorably known all over the country, and was one of Tonopah's most
enterprising and respected citizens. He is survived by a wife, two
sons, Donald and Russell, a married daughter and a sister, Mrs.
Ernest Hall, of Manhattan.

Terry is accused of having passed checks in Tonopah to the amount of
$185, he having no funds to draw against. A warrant is out for him,
but he has not been located at last accounts. Terry is the printer
who worked a similar scheme here, before that he got some demerit
marks in Mina. He may have tried the game once too often in his
Tonopah venture.

Nevada, has died.

"EVERETT DENIED NEW TRIAL"
Summary:
Frank C. Everett, serving a life sentence for the murder of W.E.
Malone, has been denied a new trail. Everett and Malone were both of
Mina, Malone was the superintendent of the Southern Pacific railroad
shops there.

"EFFECTIVE, THOUGH SHOCKING."
Summary:
Carl Roland suicided at Mina, Nevada Friday night. He sat beside the
track as a train was passing, and after half the cars had gone by he
placed his head upon the rails, which was completely severed from his
body.

Frank Everett, in the Carson penitentiary for
killing Malone at Mina, is again asking for pardon.
