“MINES AND MINING MEN: SHORT ITEMS OF GENERAL INTEREST, BORAX DISCOVERED NEAR RHYOLITE”
T.L. Oddie, D.A. Nash, A.G. Raycraft and Emil Sutro brought suit this week against Dan McNamara, Con McFadden, John Burreger and Wm. Davidson to determine the ownership of some valuable mining claims in the Manhattan district. An injunction against defendants was prayed for and granted by Judge Breen, restraining them from operating the property further until the case can be tried on its merits by the court. The plaintiffs claim the ground by right of the discovery of mineral on the property and say that the defendants jumped the ground, which was not open to location. George A. Bartlett, Key Pittman and Campbel, Metson and Brown are the attorneys for the plaintiffs. - Bonanza.
